1. Introduction

AssignPro ("AssignPro," "we," "us," or "our") provides a scheduling and communication platform that helps sports assignors manage officials, games, and venues, and helps officials manage their assignments, availability, and earnings (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "App"), how we use and share that information, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Information

When you create an account as an assignor or official, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing/home address, organization name, role (assignor or official), and, where applicable, the sports you officiate or the sports your organization runs.

Payment & Payout Preferences

Officials may choose to provide payment preferences (for example, a Zelle-linked phone number or email) so that assignors know how to pay them for completed games. AssignPro does not process, store, or transmit funds; payment arrangements and actual payments occur directly between assignors and officials outside of the App.

Scheduling & Game Data

We collect the information needed to operate the Service, including games created by assignors, assignment and crew position details, accept/decline responses, availability calendars, game requests, venue and school information, and earnings summaries calculated from your assignment history.

Communications

If you contact us for support or send us a message through the App, we retain the content of that communication and your contact details in order to respond to you.

Device & Usage Information

We automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and general usage patterns (for example, which features are used) to help us maintain and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate your access to the App.
• To operate core features such as game assignments, availability tracking, accept/decline workflows, the game request marketplace, the venue and official directories, and earnings summaries.
• To send transactional notifications, such as new assignments, cancellations, declines, schedule changes, and account-related emails.
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries sent to us.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the App, including detecting and preventing fraud or misuse.
• To understand how the App is used so we can maintain, troubleshoot, and improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Within your organization. Because the App is designed to connect assignors and officials, your name, contact information, and relevant sport/availability information may be visible to the assignor(s) and officials you work with inside your organization (for example, in the Official Directory or on a game card).
• Service providers. We use trusted third-party vendors to host and operate the App, including database and backend infrastructure (Supabase) and email delivery services, solely to provide the Service on our behalf. These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any other purpose.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or safety of AssignPro, our users, or the public, or investigate potential violations of our Terms & Conditions.
• Business transfers. If AssignPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any material change in ownership or use of your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and scheduling information for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time as described below, subject to any records we are required to retain by law.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can:

• Update most account and profile information directly within the App.
• Hide a game-derived venue from your Venue Directory view without affecting the underlying game (this does not delete the venue's association with the game).
• Request a copy of your personal information or ask us to delete your account by emailing info@assignpro.net.
• Opt out of non-essential email communications; note that we may still send essential account and assignment-related notifications required for the Service to function.

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and access controls on our backend infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

The App may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand basic usage of the Service. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings, though disabling them may affect how the App functions.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by sports assignors and officials, who are generally adults. AssignPro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@assignpro.net so we can take appropriate action.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may include links to third-party services, such as driving directions to a venue through your device's default maps or navigation app, or "tel:" and "mailto:" links that open your device's phone or email app. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices separately.

11. International Users

The App is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-app or email notification). Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
